Switzerland: The Swiss Reference Letter: A Balancing Act Between Legal Obligation, Digitalisation and Dispute Trigger
Swiss labour law grants employees the right to demand a reference letter from their employer at any time. In practice, however, it is common for every employee who leaves the company to receive a reference letter even without demanding.
